✦ position: Fulltime Graphic Artist / Production Specialist

↳   August 2022 - May 2023

✦ scope of work:

   ↳ Before conducting print production, create proofs, renders, and mock-ups, and            conduct proof-reading and design reviews to ensure the highest quality output.

   ↳ Utilize a Mimaki vinyl plotter to prepare digital client files for cutting.

   ↳ Occasionally create digital assets from scratch or outsourcing  

   ↳ Retouch client assets as needed using Adobe programs, including retouching                photos on Photoshop, correcting vector files, and resizing files to print size.

   ↳ Occasionally create digital assets from scratch or outsource as necessary.

   ↳ Develop artwork to meet client print needs.

   ↳Maintain organization in a high-volume workload environment with quick

      turnaround periods of 2-3 business days, occasionally with same-day

       requirements.

   ↳ Manage deadlines for print production while simultaneously creating and

      reviewing digital work.

   ↳ Print advertising signage, presentations, and occasional storefronts on RTA vinyl.

   ↳ Collaborating with salespersons to ensure accurate order creation, responding to

      phone calls in a professional manner as needed, and interacting with clients to          understand their requirements.

   ↳ Understanding of print finishing techniques, such as folding, and laminating

   ↳ Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise        during the  print production process.

✦ Creative Problem Solving

    ↳ Occasionally recreate client artwork when vectored files are not available.

    ↳ Create artwork from scratch when clients do not have artwork available.

    ↳ Use hand tracing and Illustrator capabilities to recreate client logos when vector

        files are not available.
